Welcome to the St Peter's Church newsletter.
As you may be aware, St Peter’s church is in discussion with the Council and the Diocese about our future in the Church Centre building. It is hoped that the Council will formalise our presence there, perhaps by granting us a longer-term lease, in return for an increase in our annual rental payments.
As part of these on-going discussions, it was thought that it would be a valuable exercise to write out a Business Plan for the church, to explain what our mission and purpose is, and also to set out our strategy and vision for the future. This has in particular, made the church think more about its role and its involvement in the community, among other issues.
The business plan addresses these topics as well as the church's environmental awareness, support of charities, provision of amenities such as the café, and its maintenance of the church centre building. The full business plan is now available to view here on the St Peter’s website.
To view the plan you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on you PC or Mac.
