St Peter's Film Club

at the Church Centre, Lake Lock Road

St Peter’s has set up a film club for anyone to come along once a month to watch a specially selected film on the big screen.

Refreshments will be available.

So far this year we have had whole host of top films all on the BIG screen at the Church Centre.

Films are shown at 7:30pm on a Friday evening and at 2:00pm on a Tuesday afternoon

Please note that there will probably not be a Film Club in August.  The next Film Club dates will be Tuesday 9th and Friday 12th September.

Tuesday matinee -8th July 2008 - 2:00pm
"The Other Boleyn Girl" (2008)
12 rating

A tale of two sisters competing for the same king, Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson star as Anne and Mary Boleyn in this adaptation of the bestselling novel by Philippa Gregory.  Whilst the story isn't historically accurate, great attention has been paid to the costumes and locations, so the film is at least visually flawless.  Eric Bana is a brooding Henry VIII and Portman and Johansson both give strong performances as the beautiful and bewitching sisters.

Why not have your lunch in the church café beforehand?
