Victorian Bazaar 2009 - held on Saturday 21st November
Many thanks to everyone who supported the Victorian Bazaar at the Community Centre on Saturday 21st November. The event was an amazing success and raised £1,300 for which the organisers and the church are very grateful.
As usual, there were lots of stalls, including toys, bottle stall, bric-a-brac, sweets, children's tombola, jams and preserves, soft toys, cakes, books, jewellery, silent auction, tombola, crafts, greetings cards, a quiz, and a raffle with many superb prizes. There were also refreshments available including tea, coffee, mince pies and bacon sandwiches. The event was very well attended, and it was very busy throughout the morning. As always, the stall-holders made a great effort to look the part, and were all dressed in Victorian style costumes.
Many thanks to the organisers, the stallholders and everyone who helped beforehand and on the day to make it such an enjoyable, happy and successful event. Particular thanks of course to everyone who came along on the day to support the event.
