Spring Fayre 2010 - SATURDAY 27TH MARCH 2010
The St Peter's Spring Fayre was held at the Community Centre on Saturday 27th March and was a wonderful success. It raised about £1,220 which was a super result. It was great to see so many people at the event.
As always, there were some excellent stalls: the cake stall, the bottle tombola and the chocolate egg tombola were very popular. There were also handmade greetings cards, accessories, toys, books, bric-a-brac, a raffle, tombola, jewellery, home-made preserves, crafts, 'name-the-doll', and a quiz.
Visitors were also able to enjoy refreshments including tea, coffee and hot cross buns, and there were also children's refreshments.
Many thanks to the organisers of the event for all their planning and hard work. Thanks also to the stallholders who always work very hard to make their stalls successful, and often put in many hours of work to prepare items for sale. There were also many people who donated raffle prizes and items for the stalls. Lastly, thank you to everyone who came to the Spring Fayre and gave it such great support.
