Café is open!!
The new community
café in the Church
Centre opened on Saturday 25th June 2005 at the Summer Gala. Work on the café began in 2003, when
the plans were first developed and various grants applied
for.
The
café serves drinks, snacks, lunches and home-made
cakes.
An enormous amount of work went into getting the café
ready: many thanks to those individuals who have dedicated so much of
their spare time to realising our dream of setting up a professional
café in Stanley.
Please do call in and see what you think! The café is open
every Tuesday and Thursday.
The increase in opening hours has been made possible by the number of
volunteers who have come forward to help in the café. Many
thanks to the organisers and kitchen staff for their professionalism
and dedication. There is still room for more volunteers though: if you
can spare some of your time to help out, please contact the Church
Centre on 01924 835746.

Tuesday 10am - 2pm
Thursday 10am-2pm
This
is a reminder that the St Peter’s Community Café is now
open from 10am—2pm every Tuesday and Thursday, but not on
Wednesdays.
